ready, set, go!

Well, guys, I've begun. I started student teaching on Wednesday, and despite a massive snow storm Wednesday night, I've been able to make it every day. So far things are going well. My cooperating teacher for this session, Mrs. S, is really nice (although quite traditional). I think I will learn a lot from my time with her. She teaches primarily freshman and sophomore English, so I've been busy memorizing names and getting my feet wet in the classroom. Today I'm giving spelling/vocab tests. To quote Napolean Dynamite, "Yessssss!"

Well, the first bell just rang, so I should probably go. Anyone else started yet? Let me know how your first few days are going! Just a quick note, I only have internet at school and the library, so my more detailed posts will probably come on the weekends.
